Plot summary: Around the world in 80 days is an adventurous book that tells how Phileas Fogg back in 1872, an English rich gentleman, makes a bet that he can go around the world in 80 days. In his Journey he is accompanied by his French manservant, Passepartout. During his Journey, he meets Mrs. Aouda in Bombay. It tells us how their adventures are and how sometimes situations don’t always go as e plan them.

Our personal thoughts about Around the world in 80 days are that no matter how bad the situation is, we always have to move on, never give up and find better alternatives. We also liked the book because is very amusing and very interesting, because when you start reading Around the world in 80 days you don’t want to leave the book. The book is full of love, adventures and friendship. We also think and know that Jules Verne has made history by the books he has written and personally we think this is our favorite.
